Hello Austin,
Go to http://www.chproducts.com/index.html and root around in their site to
see what you can find. Give them a call to find out what you need for a good
basic but solid flight simulation system before you spend significant cash.
Properly equipped with a good system including rudder pedals and the joy
stick or control system of choice, you might find a whole new world of
personal entertainment that still has to a reasonable relationship with
aviation.
A fairly up to date computer system with a lot of memory and a good high end
graphics card is almost a must.
There is almost no limit to what can be spent but a moderate sum will have
you flying and enjoying.
Some help with setting up the components can be found on the web. Google to
flight simulation, flight Sims or similar queries to find info.
There should be a flight simulation geeks club {[g-) or group in the area
that would provide some valuable input. Ask at some of the neibourhood or
local computer stores for contacts with other flight simulation people.
Anyone out there have other suggestions?
Happy simulating,
Jim in Kelowna
