Mike,
I bought my tail feathers about 90% completed and the
wing kit in the box with alot of tools I'd only heard
about. Today I have the left wing in the jig the
leading is drilled deburred and dimpled along with all
the top and bottom skins. I've made a few mistakes
along the way and had to go back and either correct or
compensate for them. The best piece of advice I could
give you is "Ask Questions" when you get stumped and
don't be afraid to start. You might want to get a few
pieces of sheet metal, drill some holes, deburr, and
practice slammin' rivets. This whole project seems to
be about READIN' and RIVETIN'. Best of Luck!
